Shining Kingdoms

“Faith, Cohesion, Common good”

In a span of thousands of years the denizens were basking under the light of benevolent gods, developing within themselves the better traits. By creating a utopian society, where there shall be place for every race and creature, the locals were the most unprepared for the onslaught of Mad Firegod’s cults and war with the newfound neighbours of merged worlds. Therefore they suffered more than the others.

Known kingdoms

Kingdom of Arkadia

A realm of chivalry and discipline, Arkadia is renowned for its strict martial upbringing and noble traditions. Every citizen, noble or not, is steeped in the values of honour, duty, and refinement. Home to the elite Swords of Arkadia, the kingdom trains and supplies knights to the prestigious Order of Sentinels. Arkadia’s heirs, including royalty, must serve in the Order – gaining wisdom, leadership, and worldly experience. Tournaments are central to Arkadian culture, showcasing the grace and grit of its warriors.

Adamant’s Heart Forge

A steadfast dwarven kingdom nestled within the fiery peaks of Adamant’s Ribs. Here, craftsmanship is a way of life, and the sounds of forging never fade. The legendary magma trough known as Adamant’s Heart is tended by the ancient Smithlord lineage, tracing back over two millennia. While not all dwarves choose the path of the warrior, those who do serve as Adamant’s Hammers – combat engineers and smiths of unmatched skill within the Order of Sentinels. Voluntary recruits often seek either new challenges beyond the anvil or a path to temper obsession into purpose.

Principality of Selinara

A refined elven realm where artistry and philosophy shape every aspect of life. Selinara thrives on celebration, expression, and the art of turning even sorrow into spectacle. Music, theatre, and eloquence are held in the highest regard, with ceremonies tailored for all occasions. The Lustreos Guard, Selinara’s contribution to the Order of Sentinels, are both warriors and scholars—diplomats, ethicists, and cultural emissaries. Through their service, they spread Selinara’s worldview, upholding the belief that true strength lies in understanding, not just arms.

Revelvand

(NB! This part of the Worlds has been contrived by players. If you wish to interact with it, it is worth reaching out beforehand with the organisers and then its creators.)
A small northern kingdom – a land of coldness, northern winds and lakes. Trade with other kingdoms: purchase food and sell enchanted equipment, metals. Here lies the University of Kenning. It was founded relatively recently by the Shining Kingdoms’ standards and is a developing scholastic institution. In general, its mages study water and wind magic and are quite ingenious with the element of ice. None can challenge Hoarfrost Mages of Revelvand in ice castle and sculpture construction. The grand majority of mages following an old tradition use staff as their energy conduit.
A druidic and shamanistic tradition still remains among the sapient with a magical gift. They dwell in forests and rarely keep contact with towns.
Dwarves of Revelvand are proficient in rune magic and forge wonderful enchanted weapons and armour. Elves are scarce due to the cold climate which is difficult for them to endure.
